Wanted: cheap blu Ray player with smart features

My brother is interested in getting a Blu-ray player that has streaming functions. He would like to get Netflix and Amazon prime on it, because he does not have those features on his TV. He doesn't want to spend a lot of money either. The cheaper the better. Does anyone have any ideas?

Finding a good Blu-ray player on the cheap is easy to do. I have always liked Panasonic for Blu-ray players, and Netflix is pretty common.

Finding one that will access Amazon Prime, is another story. Here's a link to Amazon listing devices that are compatible with their Instant Video service.

Get the Sony that TrippleJ referred to above. It's a solid player.

My brother does have an Oppo for his main room. He wanted a cheap one for his bedroom upstairs. He like what everyone said about the Sony and is ordering that now. I'd like to thank everyone for helping out.

I love my Oppo, but there's no Amazon Instant Video support.

Once it is setup, let us know how he feels about it.

My brother got the Sony at Best Buy, on sale, for $80. I took him a little bit of time to set it up correctly, but he is happy with it. And he said that Netflix looks very good on it. Thanks agin to everyone who had suggestions!
