    I wonder what shutter speed you wold have to use to stop the motion of a hummingbird's wings? I bet it's not possible with a normal digital camera, most likely have to be a specialized high speed camera.

    The hummer pic I posted on the first page of this thread had the wings stopped pretty well. It was at 1/1600 sec. Using a flash may stop them. I try not to use the flash, unless I have no choice.
