http://elections.huffingtonpost.com/2012/romney-vs-obama-electoral-map
David,
Your special underwear wearing, CTR ring wearing FREAK of a candidate is getting KILLED in the polls. The fact that he doesn't stand for a THING that you and your ULTRA-right-wing Ron Paul nut jobs stand for isn't material. The fact that he wears boner-free underwear and thinks that there are gold plates that tell the story of life are in fact material DESPITE the fact that NOBODY has seen said plates. You all are 100% insane.
Now back to facts....
According to the poll of polls (please save us from your bullshit Rasmussen biased polls - we deal in the total of all polls here) your candidate is getting HAMMERED.
To recap:
- Obama is up 49/43 in Ohio (a state that you MUST win to win the election)
- Obama is up 49/45 in FlA (good luck selling NOT allowing the "dream act" to hispanics)
- Obama is up 48/45 in VA (he won that state in 2008 although this is CLOSE still)
- Obama is uo 51/42 in PA (give up - my home state is too smart to elect one of your crazies.)
- Obama is up - 53/39 in NJ despite Chris Christie's fat boy pitch. Hillary will kick his fat ass at an advanced age in 2016. Wait and see.
- NC is a 47/47 spilt but somehow is showing "leaning Romney" It will go Obama but we don't need it.
- Obama is up in IO - 49/43
- Obama is up 49/45 in CO
- Obama is up 49/45 in NH
NOW use your best "there was more gold in building 7 of the WTC" argument to suggest how your nut job, religious right, ban abortion FUCKING NUT JOB candidate is going to win the election.
I await your response. Your beating is coming from a muslim that wasn't born in this country (oh wait I was just channeling Rush Limbaugh and Don Trump).
Bet is open. Anyone that wants my action - I am taking it. Bet me here.---

Poll of polls.
Not some right wing BS like Rassmussen or Fox News. They can spin any level of Bullshit into anything that their readers want to read. This is more factual.---

Jerry,
Did you read the reports I put in the other thread? Left-leaning media outlets did similar "polls" in 1980 to try and show that Carter was winning the election 6 weeks before voting day. We all know how that turned out. Let's see where things stand after the debate next week. Say what you want about Rasmussen, but he has had the closest results versus actual elections over the past few election cycles. Furthermore, the University of Colorado study has NEVER been wrong in the past 32 years. I LOVE your overconfidence. I just trying to figure out how to spend the $1.00 you are going to lose to me

Jerry,
Those who study history see that it repeats itself over and over. It's one reason why our pathetic public schools don't make history a priority because the last thing the government wants is for people to think for themselves. They all want little sheep who listen to their sound bites on the top of the hour news. Read this article about your precious polls and how the left-leaning media tries to influence the electorate with them: The American Spectator : How Carter Beat Reagan
History is repeating itself again with bogus polls that are using assumptions that won't happen on election day. They are loading the polls with too many Democrats (read the actual polls themselves, not the snippets that appear in the Huff Post) and you'll see that in Florida they are skewed with over 8% more Democrats than Republicans and the Independents are underrepresented as well (who favor Romney by over 2 points)...same thing in Ohio.
I still think Obama has a slightly more than 50% chance (maybe 52%) to win reelection because I'm a realist. A sitting President has a huge advantage. That being said, you're giving Romney a 0% chance to win, which is a HUGE mistake. You probably would have said the same thing about Reagan in 1980 and we all know how that turned out. He trounced a sitting President by one of the largest upsets in history. I think there's a strong possibility we may see the same thing this November.

He screws up the economy, makes us hated the whole world over, creates his own flag design so he doesn't have to wear the American flag........list just goes on and on. If the Repubs had put up anyone but a fool that agrees with Obamas health care package this thing would already be over.

I am deep into planning for a major HT upgrade by years end. However, if President Obama is re-elected, I will instead convert my 401K, IRAs etc. all to cash and attempt to weather the next four years.

I'm with you. I've already converted a significant portion of my retirement and savings vehicles into cash (of various currencies) to hedge my bets, although with each passing day it's looking like Obama is going to be a one term President after all.
