Guys,

Its been a good four months so far at HomeTheaterEquipment.

We've been able to accomplish a lot in a short period of time including:
• Using vBulletin as our forum software platform over the former software.
• We've increased our "time on site" and decreased our "bounce rate" which shows Google we are better than at The Spot.
• We've brought in MANY new users.
• We've added SOLID new threads from end users and pro writers alike.
• We've kept the conversation POSITIVE with no flaming (some ball breaking but...)

My question to you is... would you bring your friends over to the site? Would you invite power users from other forums to post here?

Some big time AVS (and other forum users) critique the site saying that "its the same people posting new threads all of the time" and in some ways I agree with them. Considering we've been through ONE Google Page Rank Update since relaunching the forum as HTE - I think the critique is a little harsh but then again when are forum people subtle!

The long term goal here is to have a ship that is rowed by the people.

I am bringing more and more industry executives to the site to see what we are doing and they want to see their users interacting here.

What can you do to help bring new people in? Power users, enthusiasts, new customers, newbies? They are all welcomed.

Please post below on how you think we can grow as this is as much up to you as it is to me, my staff etc... This is your playground, I just want to see more kids in the sandbox and on the slide.
