Oppo bdp-95 blue ray player

Someone help please!!!! I currently own an OPPO bdp-95 player along with a Parasound Halo c-2 controller. When I listen to SACD's as well as dvd audio I am hearing a scratchy distorted sound from all of my speakers. I owned the Oppo Bdp-83 as well and had the same problem. All of my connections are good and no one can seem to figure out this problem. The problem dosent occur during movies, only music. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. I contacted Oppo and Parasound and neither of them have ever heard of such a problem.

It could be a bad cable if you are going analog.

Could be the case. Are you using the 7.1 analog outputs from the Oppo into the 7.1 analog input for both movies and high res audio formats?
