My Home Theater
Tried everything to keep the reflection off the TV screen to no avail.
Transparent acoustic material by GOM covers the framing which is full of batts of ground up blue jeans.
The framing was constructed with 2x2s.
Front subwoofer traps were the most difficult, cutting the triangles out of 2'x2' squares 4" thick.
Beethoven, a Biscon Frise, is where he is anytime I'm by myself in the room. He has a twin brother, Mozart.
The media room has been finished for sometime and the framing still is missing its quarter round trim

There ya go!!!! As I said before - this is a very nice HT! I know you have dynmaics to spare, have you considered going to the RF-7II's? How well does the RC-7 mate with the 82's? I also see that you use your subs in the nearfield, I know quite a few people that do that, the SVS subs are a great value and great performers! Where did you get your Acoustic panels - or are they DIY?

I have considered buying the RF7, followed by the RF7-II but the $3500 cost has stopped me. During a weak moment I actually called Klipsch to see if they would give me a 10% discount on the RF7-IIs and they declined. At this time they were the only ones that sold the RF7-IIs. I again called Klipsch and they stated the RC7 and RF82 were a close match. In addition, my hearing is non-to-good and there's a chance I couldn't tell the difference. There's nothing wrong with my ability to appreciate low frequencies. I believe that the low end is in pretty good shape.
Bryan Pape designed the panel positioning and sizes and I built the panels.Last edited by k0rww; 02-22-2012 at 03:35 PM.
