Guys,
Clearly a lot of time, money and effort have gone into HomeTheaterEquipment.com so that we all can have a nifty new playground.
We are NOWHERE CLOSE to being done but we've already started the party here. I am seeing some of our HomeTheaterSpot.com regulars come over to HTE and I have even spoken to a few of them and the reports have been positive.
What grade would you give the new forum? (A to F)
How does it compare to the other forums like AVS, HomeTheaterForum.com, HomeTheaterShack.com and others?
What effect do you think adding PROFESSIONAL and HIGHLY formatted Blu-ray reviews will have to the site especially when promoted to HomeTheaterReview.com's 57,000 email names, 5900 Facebook fans and 3000 Twitter followers?
Lastly, if you are seeing issues (I am seeing some CSS issues on IOS and some pages in Safari) PLEASE LET US KNOW as we have a long way to go to make this place perfect....

<help> & <search>
Hopefully constructive questions:
doesn't work as I expected. Am I confused or is this just not implemented yet?
returns general categories, is your plan for to be a database of solutions to common problems? Searching for "Avatar" or "Private Messages" returns nothing applicable to the subject. Having a FAQ database under would also work.

I like the new look. Adding blu-ray reviews would be good as well. I go to http://www.highdefdigest.com/ for the blu-ray reviews but if reviews are included here, one less place for me to go..

I generally hate forums (even ones I'm employed to like
) but must say HTE is a nice, worthwhile experience. It's easy to navigate, understand and the conversation, while ongoing, is better and less venomous than other forums I've seen. I like where it's going.

I'm the kind of equipment buyer that needs to be told what to buy. With that said I need good reviews of upgraded equipment with the ability to ask questions. I also like to get good used equipment in order to save a few bucks on higher end gear. Can we have a sell or trade area?
