panasonic ct-36hl43 no video, loud chirp when power up

have a panasonic ct-36hl43 ,when power up here a loud chirp and front led blink
no picture or sound. Developed a reddish tinge in the upper left hand corner of screen a few weeks before this, love this unit, have had it for 7 years without any
problems. Before i plunk down several hundred for a new LED flat I would like to revive this one if possible.Is there anything I can look for inside to replace myself before I start talking to repair businesses. one more thing I did have to replace the
line fuse where the power enters the set once last year .
When power button is pressed 2 clicks ,pause 1 click , then 2 chirps along with the power LED blink, does this 5 times and then stops and the power led blinks once every 5 sseconds

Sounds like a blown power supply to me. Fix or replace, your option.
