Anybody Watching The Northern Trust Golf This Weekend?
Guys,
The PGA Tour is at my home course here in Pacific Palisades, California this week. The course was known as Ben Hogan's home course and has a ton of history with some of the best winners over the last 87 years of the event.
If you are at home freezing - its 80 here today and the course is looking great.
Check out the action as the early rounds are on the Golf Channel (218 on DirecTV) and I think the main action is on CBS.
It should be pretty cool to watch.
I went yesterday with two professional golfer friends of mine and watched the action on the 10th hole with the USC people INCLUDING the song girls who are always fun to hang out with. The weather was PERFECT.
Let me know what you think---

What happned to Fred Couples? No coverage of him at all on Saturday. Did he drop out of the tournament or did he just drop way back in the field?

Golf is probably the least watched sport with the highest spending by amateur golfers. To the uninitiated Jerry, watching golf is like watching grass grow.

This is a very tough course, even on Tiger Woods 12 on the XBOX 360

The closing hole will rip you a new one if you don't hit a good drive and then keep the ball below the hole on your second shot.

No tiger, no rory, no Phil...just "the field" playing for Jerry and his rich "I care about stuff, so I vote democrat" friends. Not for me.
We have the Cadillac coming up down here at Doral. Top 50 in the world. That there's a tournament!
I'm trolling Jerry, don't take it personal!
