Cool, thanks for the update. I am in a similar situation and was looking into HDMI over power-line adapters. I will have to revisit the wireless option.

I would't use 2.4 ghz or 900 MHz, since this is a apartment developing and many individuals could have wireless mobile phones that are on the same wavelengths. 80211g would probably perform better in this situation.

Michael:L that's why, different strokes for different folks. I'm glad you found a solution that worked for you.

The DVDO AIR uses 60-GHz wireless technology. You shouldn't have any problems with interference with it.

I've used & liked the IOGEAR. It sets up a wireless network that the customer will never see. It can send two HDMI's & has a remote control. Nice.

I bought one after Jeff's recommendation and it worked out perfectly. Not cheap but works exactly as stated.

Richard: I'm glad it worked out for you. Also, their tech support is quite good, also. Ask for Larry.

Thanks for the information, but it's so simple I doubt I will ever need the help.

    JR,

I've only used it for 1080P in stereo. The box states it will pass 5.1 uncompressed digital audio. I'm sure Jeff can answer your question.
