Hey Tracy: Do you know what the model number is for this stand/ mount. I have a customer right now for such a unit. He particularly wants a corner mount cabinet. This looks like it is in fact a corner mount unit. It would also be helpful if you could provide the measurments for it. The customer has a Sony 37" LCD TV. Do they also make it in black?

Tracy: Here follows one of the best ways to secure your flat screen from the rear. Luckily, it's cheap and availoable from most hardware stores. Piece of cake. Use it with metal wire for best results. Take two aspirin and call me in the morning:

Jeffrey, as far as I know, it mounts on all the Sanus stands. Click the hyperlink in my post. It will take you to the Sanus site.

I would like another version of this article relating to keeping cats safe from a home TV tip over. Or rather, I would like to keep my TV safe from a cat spaz-out.

When I replaced my old, clunky CRT computer monitor with a slim new LCD one, my cat didn't get the memo. (meow-mo?)

Anyway, he liked to sleep on the nice warm CRT, and would jump up on it from the ground, a good three feet.

So he jumped up like he normally would, landed on the edge of the 1 1/2" LCD panel, freaked out, knocked it face first into the corner of my desk, cracking it, then topped it off by knocking a glass of water onto my (exposed because I had just dusted it) computer tower, destroying (almost) all the components.

For his grand finale he dove at me and dug his claws into my shoulder before leaping away to the safety of my bed, then looked at me like, "Why'd you get rid of that thing I liked to sleep on?"

I'd suggest the death penalty for this cat.

Cat should be hobbled, or at least tie a sock around it.
