Peaky Blinders - Netflix
Think Boardwalk Empire meets Downton Abbeys wait staff in a Guy Ritchie film.
Acting is superb...Cillian Murphy and Sam Neill.
Starts slow, like a snowball rolling down a hill with barely enough momentum to keep it going...but once it gets going!
Half way through this
9.99 for Netflix streaming as an f'ing bargain

1 out of 1 members found this post helpful.Just finished Season 4. Again only 6 episodes. but man I love this show.
Adrien Brody was added this season. boy was he awful! he had the role of an Italian mobster seeking vengeance. he played it like a young Vito Corleone from Godfather Part 2. but it was laughably bad.
despite Brody's crap performance, the show maintained my interest in the Shelby family and seeing how Thomas Shelby (Cillian Murphy) can get his family through all the stuff that comes from being a criminal.
Tom Hardy cameos and is great as usual.
extremely well written, directed and filmed.
