    For those curious about the size difference between an SB2000 & PB13-Ultra:

    wow. that is a big difference. Size as well as weight.

    What is that item behind the new sub?

    What you're looking at is a constant voltage transformer with surge protection. I have one on each of the Ultras. I intend to take new pictures of the HT with the new subs but it's somewhat of a problem eliminating all the reflections in the pictures. I should have taken notes the last time.

    In retirement I have become very efficient at being in-efficient.

    I'm embarrassed to say that I haven't done anything with the SB2000. The sub is sitting behind the audio rack in the picture below. I have way too many things going on at once, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
