    Bumping this to the top as it's about time to upgrade my display. Budget is $2k-$2,500 but cheaper is better!

    I just saw some very attractive pricing on Samsung models in a Sears BF ad. Other than price, what are you looking for?

    Thanks guys - I'll check them out. OLED - I'm not sure... is it worth it? Seems like the consensus is yes???

    OLED is the way to go and the price is finally starting to drop. I'm giving it until sometime next year to see if it drops a bit more.

    However, many of the newer LEDs from Samsung and even Vizio are pretty impressive. I'd find one with full-array backlighting, which most of the better 50+ inchers are.

    Just got back from best buy and looked at the LG OLED 65 TrippleJ linked to. Yeah... it's coming home with me.
