I finally cracked open Electric Mud and gave it a spin. It sounds fantastic.

The vinyl is very quiet and the recording is dynamic. I am really impressed with this Third Man Records pressing of this album.

My highly awaited Porcupine Tree - Lightbulb Sun import finally came in.

The music is VERY cool as is the look of the album and cover art. The vinyl is a bit noisy. It isn't terrible but there is a slight rumble that I don't hear in other records. The highs sound a bit rolled off but I don't have a copy of this album in a different format to compare.

I forgot to mention, the Lightbulb Sun is a double album with only three tracks on each side.

This seems to be a common thing with many re-issues, particularly Steven Wilson and Porcupine Tree albums. It totally eliminated inner groove distortion.

I can't tell you how many times I've heard this song, but it was The Kingsmen version.
