I like this thread.
I received AC/DC's Rock or Bust for Christmas. It too is 180 gram vinyl which sounds pretty darn good, but it also came with a CD. I hadn't heard of this album, but it's old-school Brian Johnson-era AC/DC. It's worth buying if you are a fan of the band.

I haven't bought an album/CD/ or full download in forever. My daughter did just purchase the CD of the soundtrack from "La La Land" though...does that count?

I wanted to buy it, but never got around to it
Mostly I just stream Amazon or Google music these days for background music. Both are free (although I do "pay" for Prime Music, but that's not the reason I signed up for Prime, so I consider it "free").David Vaughn

A buddy of mine just sent this photo of what was just dropped off at his front door.
I've never listened to a half-speed mastered disc before.

Bill Joel released this through Columbia records but to be truthful, it was no better than regular speed mastered vinyl. Just letting you know not to waste your money on the Billy Joel one only. I did when it first came out .

Good to know, thanks. I have read some debate on if half-speed mastering really makes a difference or not.
In the end, it sounds good to say it was mastered at half speed and I'm sure there's a marketing aspect to this as well. In the case of my friend, his records were stored at his parent's house and they got rid of them years ago. He's rebuilding his collection from the ground up. I am interested in hearing it.
