Rush
Awhile back, there was discussion of how bad the 2013 Rush HDT box sets are (& yes, they really are awful!)
I think I've mentioned this before, but I learned that the 2015 HDT remasters are much better. I've had them for awhile, & until this week only played a few tracks. Having now played the complete 1st 4 albums, I can definitely state that the 2015 remasters are excellent.
Sucks for the folks that paid big $'s for the 2013 box sets, though.Passive Preamp: Mod Squad Deluxe; Amp McCormack DNA-1 Mod 1; Hi Rez & blu-ray/DVD Front End: Oppo BDP-95 With Region Hack; CD front end: Esoteric P-10->Kimber/Illuminati Digital Cable-> PS Audio SL3; CD Recorder: Tascam 900SL; Cassette Deck: Nakamichi DR2; Speakers (2.0): NHT 2.5I; Analog Cable: Tara Analog Standard, Pandora & Omni Bi-Wired Speaker Cable; Various aftermarket power cords; Power Conditioner: Adcom, Televsion: Vizio E55-C1

Yes, like me.
Do you have a CD of any of the 2015 remasters that you own? I would be interested in hearing your thoughts about how the two compare.

Sorry, no. I had the late 90's remasters on cd, & I got rid of all of them when I got these.
So far I've played the first 6, & the only one I'd be at all hesitant to reccomend is All The World's A Stage. Not compressed, but either a bad recording or they didn't use the 1st generation master. It's not awful, but the other 5 are better.
I can also recommend the AF SACD of Hemispheres.Passive Preamp: Mod Squad Deluxe; Amp McCormack DNA-1 Mod 1; Hi Rez & blu-ray/DVD Front End: Oppo BDP-95 With Region Hack; CD front end: Esoteric P-10->Kimber/Illuminati Digital Cable-> PS Audio SL3; CD Recorder: Tascam 900SL; Cassette Deck: Nakamichi DR2; Speakers (2.0): NHT 2.5I; Analog Cable: Tara Analog Standard, Pandora & Omni Bi-Wired Speaker Cable; Various aftermarket power cords; Power Conditioner: Adcom, Televsion: Vizio E55-C1
