    Adam West Passes

WOW, I just read that Adam West has passed.

West was known to many primarily as Batman on the television series from 1966 - 1968. While that may have been the role that got him a weekly gig, it was almost the role that typecast the actor.

A story on Hollywood Reporter says that West had a tough time finding steady acting jobs after the show ended. However, he had a second run at success when he accepted a part on Seth MacFarlane’s long-running Fox animated hit Family Guy. West provided the voice-over for the show's Mayor of Quahog, also named Adam West.

West passed last Friday in Los Angeles after a short battle with leukemia. He was 88.

I'd heard and read the same about his career. 88 is a pretty damn good life though, that's for sure.

With Christopher Reeve and Adam West, God must need the Justice League.

He was great on South Park. Even better on the 60's Batman.

He lived about 10 minutes from us for much of his life.

Thanks for the entrainment buddy. You RULE!
