Thanks for the inside details Barry. Hopefully, his lawyers will be able to fix all of this for him.

$550 for a book. Wow, it better have several thousand pages in it.. lol.

Sounds like it will be a book for his most loyal, hardcore fans.

First. I got a set fee and will, get no residuals. I am also a co writer of Taschen’s 75 Years of Marvel and The Marvel Age of Comics.

thet have already sold 2,000 books, which are all they are selling of this edition. I suspect they will eventually print a cheaper edition.

Their book on 2001 A Space Odyessy sold for $1,000.

Barry, you have to start thinking smarter when negotiating your next writing contract. You deserve a nice AV upgrade.

Ok, throw in the pictures but at that price the book really needs to be able to grope me before I buy.

Having said that in an attempt to be funny, I gotta say seriously it's really amazing to have Lefisc here to post the great stuff that he does!

I see him all the time at Wolfgang's in Beverly Hills for lunch. He's an icon.

Boy, did you guys make me feel great today! Thanks.

Here are some pictures of what they use to get images of comics. They do not use scanners, but I high grade camera, attached to a computer, that costs $35,000. And a few of the comics I have they they want to photograph. Marvel, which had several owners, often does not have these either.
