    If you need 5 inputs and 1 output, you need what I would call a switch. To me, a splitter takes an HDMI source and splits it into two or more outputs so it can be sent to more than one display.

    I'm not trying to be critical, but if you search for splitter you may not find what you are looking for.

    I have never bought one or seriously looked at them. I have always used an AVR or AV preamp to handle my switching.

    Do you not currently use an AVR in your system?
