Rant: I Wish Concert Blu-Ray Manufacturers Would State the Audio Bit & Sampling Rate
Would it kill the labels to provide this info? I really don't care much about music video unless it's something special (Theatrical or an artist I am totally gaga over), but if the audio is 96/24 or better I may purchase for that reason solely.
This is a problem on probably 50% of discs even after purchase (I don't have a pc based br player & many times the tagged audio info tagged into the disc doesn't specify bit & especially Sampling rates) & 95%+ on the net.Passive Preamp: Mod Squad Deluxe; Amp McCormack DNA-1 Mod 1; Hi Rez & blu-ray/DVD Front End: Oppo BDP-95 With Region Hack; CD front end: Esoteric P-10->Kimber/Illuminati Digital Cable-> PS Audio SL3; CD Recorder: Tascam 900SL; Cassette Deck: Nakamichi DR2; Speakers (2.0): NHT 2.5I; Analog Cable: Tara Analog Standard, Pandora & Omni Bi-Wired Speaker Cable; Various aftermarket power cords; Power Conditioner: Adcom, Televsion: Vizio E55-C1

I'm not a huge fan of concert videos, mostly because of the sound. Of the few that I own, Roger Waters - The Wall sounds the best.

Yup, it's great. (Wish Cyndi Lauper stayed home though. Or Rog didn't invite her.)
Gilmour released a new Live at Pompeii video a few months back, and while I haven't seen it yet, pretty sure it'll sound incredible. It actually got a (1-day) theatrical release. (Which I missed.)
Anyone seen/heard it? I have no idea why I haven't bought it yet.

I haven't bought it yet, but I am really tempted.
I bought David Gilmour: Remember That Night - Live At The Royal Albert Hall. While it sounds good, it's not The Wall kind of good. However, it's Gilmour (who is brilliant as always) and bringing out Crosby and Nash was pretty cool too. It's worth buying if you're a fan.

There are some 96/24 video blu ray concerts out there. That's what I'd like to know before purchase!
