Paddington 2 (Blu-ray) review
Plot
While searching for the perfect present for his beloved Aunt Lucy’s hundredth birthday, Paddington sees a unique pop-up book in Mr. Gruber’s antique shop, and embarks upon a series of odd jobs to buy it. Hilarity and adventure ensue when the book is stolen and Paddington and the Browns must unmask the thief.
My Thoughts
When the first movie came out three years ago my Mom absolutely loved it and said to definitely watch it. I took her advice and discovered that it certainly was a fantastic movie for not just kids, but adults too. A sequel was sure to come and here we are three years later and guess what? They have struck lighting in a bottle twice. This is every bit as fun as the first!
Paul King is back in the director’s chair and shares the writing credit with Simon Farnaby based on the books by Michael Bond. The film’s original cast is back which includes Downton Abby’s Hugh Bonneville and Sally Hawkins along with a number of new actors including Brendan Gleeson, Hugh Grant and Peter Capaldi. Even if you don’t have kids, this one is a lot of fun to watch!

Conclusion
It’s rare you’ll see a movie receive 100% on Rottentomatoes.com, but this is one of them. To say it’s “Certified Fresh” is an understatement. This is a touching film that is sure to please the younglings and adults alike. Highly recommended.David Vaughn
