I have the Pioneer Elite 47Ai myself. It is my primary disc transport on my two-channel rig. In my opinion, it wasn't the best DVD player as it suffered from a color decoder error that many called the chroma bug. Mine would smear brightly-colored red objects when there was a really high-contrast scene. Hopefully yours performed better than mine.

However, it has decent DACs and you can disable the video circuitry from the front panel which makes it a decent disc transport.

Oh, I forgot to add my gear stash.

Onkyo TX-SR 705 AVR (replaced by the 707 which runs slightly cooler)
Denon AVR non-HDMI model (replaced by the 705 when most of the HDMI bugs were ironed out)
    Carver M400 power amp
DCM Time Window Three tower speakers (replaced by DCM TW Sevens which were replaced by my Triton Ones)
DCM CX-17 bookshelf speakers (3 of them replaced by the GoldenEar HTR 7000 surrounds and SuperCenter XXL Center)
I'm sure I still have a VCR or two stashed away somewhere

I had a ton of other gear that I have slowly been able to either sell or give away.

I have a Betamax ED and a Crown F M Tuner. I have a Day Sequerra Referance tuner that I do not use any morebecause there are no stations on Long Island that I listen to anymore. When I sell that, I will put back the crown tuner.

It will break my heart to sell it because it was the best tuner I have ever heard, but I nownonly listen to internet radio

Barry, you should list that tuner on USA Audiomart or Audiogon. I bet it sells.

    Really? Surely you gest.

Let's see a photo of your box of unused cables. I recently pitched a ton of old cables (actually it's at least the second culling) and I still have a ton left.

I sadly have nothing interesting except a "best in class" 4 head Panasonic (I think) VCR from the mid-2000's and a box of tapes that I need to go through and decided what to look for disc replacements of. Also, a box of old useless cables. Lots of useless cables. Mostly stuff like 2/3ch RCA's used for multichannel audio patching and component video cables.

My garage is too small to store anything unnecessary as I keep one car in it.

I do have a tupperware container filled with interconnects, multiple RGB video cables, and speaker wire stored in my basement.

Ohh almost forgot. . A pair of PSB Alpha Mites, a pair PSB 400s which Im making grills for, a PSB 100c center channel, a Yanaha KX630 which has been replaced by a Yamaha K720 and a dual well cassette deck.
