Thread: Killing Lincoln - National Geographic Channel - Sunday Feb 17th

I have to see if I get this channel. I really enjoyed the book and learned a few things about Lincoln that I never knew before.

While this is probably an excellent program, I would have a hard time watching it knowing that O'Reilly is associated with it. I simply cannot stand the guy.

Anybody who saw it? I don't have this channel so curious what your thoughts were..

I watched it. I thought it was meh.

i saw things i never knew and the quality of the pictures at the end was a big surprise to me.

how historically accurate is it? i have no idea. lots of acting in it, and a few historians.

worth a watch but dont lose any sleep over it.

Wonder if Lincoln vampire slayer would have been better. lol

The book was extensively fact checked and one minor error was found and fixed in the next printing.

I have the audio book and the movie but they're on a list of things to do.
